Another Day, Same Old Fan Girl Fawning
What do I love more than a well-made English period drama starring Benedict Cumberbatch? Absolutely nothing. The trailer for BBatch's new movie The Imitation Game was released today, and I can very confidently say that it looks impeccable. Based on a true story, The Imitation Game follows Alan Turing's discovery of groundbreaking technology which helped to crack encrypted German code during World War 2. Take a look at the official trailer.
The cinematography, the costumes, the script, the Cumberbatch. God, I love period dramas so damn much!
Now, tell me you are not impressed. This film looks incredible! Honestly, you have no idea what British war dramas do to me! I mean, I must have watched this trailer about 6 times just while writing this post. The film is set to be released on the 14th of November in the UK and the 21st in the US. I know I will most defiantly be the first in line!
Also, if you peer to your right, you will see this month's watch list contains just five of my favorite British period dramas. Parade's End and War Horse also stars the Cuddlebum, and Mr. Selfridge is extremely captivating. Make sure to check them out; they're all very good.
See you tomorrow!
