Happy Sunday!
Here comes another recipe to add to the Cooking with the Cooke book! This peachy desert is the perfect summertime treat. Resembling a peach cobbler but with less calories, this desert will satisfy everyone at your summer BBQ!
Brown Sugar Grilled Peaches
2 Fresh Peaches
1 tbsp Butter
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
***Although this recipe only calls for 2 peaches, you can make as many as you need. Just simply double or triple the recipe as you please.
Firstly, slice your peaches in half, removing the seed. You will want your peaches rip, but not too soft. Do not remove the peach fuzz; after grilling, the skin will be easy to remove.
Next, add 2 tbsp of brown sugar to each of the peaches. Cut the 1 tbsp of butter into four even slices, and add on slice to each peach. Sprinkle the top of the peaches with cinnamon.
Turn on your grill. Once heated, turn the heat down to low. Add each slice of peach on the grill, skin side down. Cook for 10-15 minutes until butter is fully melted and sugar is dark brown.

And there you have it, the perfect summer desert! Serve your peaches with a side of vanilla ice cream and Stacy's Cinnamon Sugar Pita chips to pull the whole desert together! Delicious!
