Blogmas Day 18!
You find on a lot of television programs that they will always do a Christmas themed episode. And I absolutely love it! Unlike Christmas movies, TV episodes won’t take as long to watch, and they will still get you in the Christmas spirit! Here a just a few of shows with awesome Christmas themed episodes.
Will and Grace
As we all know, Will and Grace is the only comedy that matters! It’s probably my favorite show of all time (besides The Hour, of course). Besides having absolutely hysterical episodes, Will and Grace have some pretty amazing Christmas episodes. My favorite is Jingle Balls, where Jack steals Grace’s job of decorating the Barney Department Store windows for Christmas. It’s absolutely hysterical, and the characters are to die for. When you’re done watch the Christmas episodes, make sure to watch the rest of the series! You won’t regret it, I promise!
Doctor Who
It’s become tradition that each year Doctor Who does a Christmas special. They have had some fantastic episodes of late, most notable A Christmas Carol and last years, The Snowmen. Like all of the Doctor’s journeys, the Christmas episodes are filled with adventures, clever remarks, and a charming ending. But don’t expect a happy ending after this year’s episode. For this year, we lose our dear 11th (12th? 13th? Who knows anymore) Doctor! I know I’m not looking forward to losing my Doctor!
Glee
Now, I’m here to say, I’m not a fan of Glee, but I do absolutely love their Christmas episodes. Well, I love their Christmas covers… Not so much the story. Extraordinary Merry Christmas is definitely a winner. I adore the vintage Christmas show New Directions put together, and this episodes ep’s are fantastic!
The Office
We all know The Office is just hilarious regardless of what episode it is, but the Christmas episodes are just as great! From secret Santa gone wrong to finding the perfect present for a loved one, The Office is on point with their holiday themed episodes! My absolute favorite is Classy Christmas! The snowman scene at the end of the episode made me cry with laughter.
Downton Abbey
Downton Abbey is an absolutely gorgeous show all by itself, but add Christmas and you get even more class! Don’t fear, even though it’s Christmas, that won’t stop this dysfunctional family from going at each other. You get just as much drama in these episodes as the others, only these ones are covered with red and green! Make sure to watch this year’s Christmas themed episode on Christmas day… It’s bound to be a great one!
Top Gear
Although the Top Gear Christmas specials aren't partially Christmas themed, they are still absolutely a right laugh. Each year, the Top Gear crew goes on holiday to a far off place for us to laugh at their blundering madness. The Middle East Special is quite funny with a surprise twist at the end!
